On August 14, 2024, the 77th Independence Day of Pakistan was joyously commemorated at the Mawaa Orphanage with great enthusiasm and commitment. The festivities commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the children's renditions of Hamd and Naat. The orphan children delivered moving patriotic speeches underscoring the importance of independence and the sacrifices made by national heroes. Informative documentaries chronicling Pakistan's history, from the advent of the East India Company in the subcontinent to the nation's independence, were screened on an LED display. The event culminated with a stirring rendition of the national anthem, sung with pride and solidarity, followed by a heartfelt collective prayer (dua) for the prosperity and advancement of the nation.
